One thing I did not like was his tackling technique.

Did you see how many more positives I listed than that one negative? C'mon man!

But it's true. The technique is poor, but he was still hitting hard enough to make the tackle. So even the one flaw I saw was still covered up by one of his strengths. And I'm hoping he can learn some technique from Vaccaro. He's literally one of the best tacklers I've seen, at least on our team.

Hahah yea I get that he comes flying in to make the tackle, but for the most part he actual makes the tackle, so we shall see. I think he is gunna be nasty on special teams and maybe even play some rover.

Right, that's why I said I wasn't really trying to compare him to Jenkins, because Jenkins would have missed 90% of those.

He takes better angles and puts his whole body into the hit. I'd just like to see him break down just a bit before the hit to make sure he doesn't whiff.

He definitely seems to fit the Harper mold, but with much(much much) better ball skills and faster.

Yea although Im not a Harper fan. If this guy is as good as he seems any shot in certain situations he takes Hawthornes spot? passing situations etc.. seems like he can blitz very well too.

I think almost anyone side from Hawthorne should be in on passing situations. The problem is most downs are 50/50 so you can't just replace him with these guys unless they can actually take on guards and make tackles up the middle.

Third and longs don't happen but a few times a game. We averaged just under 14 3rd downs a game so even being generous and saying half of them are 3rd and longs, that's only 7 plays a game.

Edit:
But yeah you can definitely have him on the field in addition to Hawthorne to blitz or cover.

Can't find anything on him. 6'1", 218lbs. is all I got. That's pretty good size and he (looks like he)moves fast for a guy that size.

No idea, but based on what I saw in those highlights I'd say only in a zone scheme(so not for us). I really didn't see him in any man to man.

Pretty good measurables for a guy his size. Good speed(which looks like translates to the field) and the strength shows through in his tackles and getting through linemen. You can see his hops on blitzes where he pulls back for the deflection.

After watching his highlights he reminded me of Tyrann especially the way he blitzed.
