Hello Who Dats & Who Datettes and welcome to the week 10/game 9 thread.
After last week's unfortunate events in the Superdome, we're back on the road again with 1 banged up team playing another in a game that, when the 2020 season ended, was not on the 2021 schedule.
The Tennessee Titans were added to the Saints schedule when the 17th game was made official by the NFL over the summer as the "same place finisher" from the AFC South, then it was determined the AFC team would be the home team in all of the "game 17s" throughout the NFL this year... so here we are.
And neither team is coming into the game in tip top shape. The Saints are missing Michael Thomas, but the Titans are missing Julio Jones. The Saints are missing Alvin Kamara, but the Titans are missing Derrick Henry. The two places where you say 1 team is beat up more than the other is the Saints being without the starting QB Jameis Winston and CB CJ Gardner-Johnson.
Then there's the trenches, where the Saints are without Terron Armstead today against a defense that sacked Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford 5 times last Sunday as the Titans went to Los Angeles and came out of there with a surprising, dominating victory when considering their injury issues.
The 2 offenses will seem to rely on some old hand running backs, with Mark Ingram just 20 yards away from breaking Deuce McAllister's franchise rushing record, while Adrian Peterson will be toting the rock for the Titans.
This game has the making of a defensive, low-scoring slugfest, and the Saints need another big rebound win after last week.
LET'S MAKE TENNESSEE SING THE BLUES AND GET BACK ON THE RIGHT PATH

Weather: Can't really ask for a much better day for football today. Temperatures during the game should be in the mid-50s and barely a cloud in the sky. Wind could be a bit of an issue though as the winds turn from the WSW to coming from the NW around 10-15 MPH throughout the game.
Uniforms: Going with the look we've gotten used to over the last few years, white jerseys & black pants today
Current Standings:
NFC South:
Buccaneers 6-2
Saints 5-3
Falcons 4-4
Panthers 4-5
AFC South:
Titans 7-2
Colts 4-5
Jaguars 2-6
Texans 1-8
Betting Lines: Titans (-3); O/U 43.5

About to drive over to Nissan stadium to freeze my nuts off. Hopefully walk away with the Saints winning in an upset

This game feels like a win.
Saints on the road, playing as the underdog?
We usually win these types of games.
We are 3-0 as the underdog so far this year.

Spread has been 3 all week. Didn’t budge after injury news. All signs point to saints covering and winning for absolutely no reason

Feel like our Recievers make plays instead of drops today.
Ingram rushes for over a 100.
Saints win 27-20
Saints+3 & Over 44

inactives added to OP
Lil'Jordan Humphrey a bit of a surprise inactive
2 of the 3 questionable Titan players are inactive... both on defense

Huge game for our Saints
Do the Saints tie Tampa's record and keep going for a 5th straight Div title?
Does Trevor stake his claim to be QB 1 with a tough road win?
Does MI become the all time rusher in Saints history?
Can we come out healthy for once
Chili bourbon and beer boys.... lets go

We are looking at a difficult situation. Titans dline can get pressure with 4. No Kamara. Our defense probably has to win this game and get turnovers. We can’t turn it over. This game may redefine “ugly “ in more ways than one.

Special teams will be a piece to the puzzle today.

No idea how this one will go. Our key to win will be forcing turnovers and shortening the field. We just have absolutely no offense
