If the Saints get that No. 1 seed, could anyone beat them at the Superdome?

It will be extremely difficult. Saints quarterback Drew Brees threw five touchdowns during a recent victory against Buffalo at home, and it is hard to believe there are many quarterbacks in the NFC that can hang with him in the playoffs. The emergence of Green Bay running back Eddie Lacy, coupled with the eventual return of Randall Cobb, could make the Packers dangerous in the postseason. However, New Orleans is the team to beat.

How awesome would it be for the Colts to knock off the Broncos.

Would also be great to beat Seattle in New Orleans to go to the Super Bowl.

Man, I wish i felt optimistic about us getting that 1 seed. I just don't see us keeping pace with Seattle the way they're winning games right now. They should have two more losses easily, yet are 7-1. I know we have two close could have been losses as well at 6-1, but this stretch coming up is gonna be pretty rough. I just hope the NFC West beats up on each other enough.

Literally every away game is gonna be a challenge for Seattle.

They just aren't the same team on the road.

Ha, I don't really care. I sure 'nuff don't cheer for GB because of Lacy or Ind because of Trent. Don't be grumpy, it's the same shite LSU fans do with Arizona Cardinals (aka LSU Post-Grad)

Just like LSU fans want the Saints to draft everyone who comes out of LSU... LOL!

For the record, I am a fan of neither Alabama or LSU.

I just laugh at everyone drooling over this dude. Yeah he's having a hell of a year. Remember last year he had a hell of a year as well. Guess what? Bounced at home in the first round. You think that's bad, wait until New York in February. Not saying we have the most well traveling offense either, but Peyton and cold playoff games do not mix well...at all.

Manning chokes in the Playoffs regardless. Most-likely vs. the Colts this year.

I am curious to see 2 things as we get to the 2nd half of the season:
1) How Manning does in the cold DEN air and in the playoffs with this team
2) How Brees does during this 2nd half stretch that has a shite ton of murderous games home/away.

It wasn't his arm strength last year. It was his grip due to the weather. It hit around 9 degrees during that playoff game in Denver. It's possible that his nerves could have recovered more over the past 12 months. If not, then Denver will be fricked if it gets that cold again. I think he'll be fine if it stays around their average temps for that time of year (30s). That game just happened to be on a ridiculously cold day

I think the chargers get into the playoffs, but other than that I agree with these projections.

The seeding is completely up in the air, I could easily see Green Bay coming on strong and shocking everybody with a first round bye.
