This. He's one hard tackle away from a permanent spit cup. Over under on the number of preseason games until he gets a concussion +/- 2.5.
I'll give him the over with 3.

Every player is one hit away from injury. Its the NFL If that's what you think then guys like Wes Welker, Desean Jackson and Lance Moore would have been out the league a long time ago.

The Saints do not draft white skill players
Seriously though it is somewhat of a problem.
If the FO is looking at the draft board and see two LBs
1) A black LBer who is a physical specimen, but may be a project.
2) A white LBer who is very athletic, high motor, good football IQ.
The FO will draft #1 all day long and twice on sunday. This is part of the problem with the defensive draft picks. They are too captivated by the physical specimen and not taking everything else into consideration.
whether a potential draft pick is white or black, the FO needs to start taking everything into consideration and maybe our defensive draft picks will cease being busts

From what I'm hearing he's a "High Motor Guy" and a "Possession Receiver".
Lacks straight line speed, but has a high football IQ.

Swope has had 3 concussions in the last 2 years.

This is a good article explaining him being a fast white receiver and how he is viewed pre-draft.
