The best value available right now is at WR and OL. Go BPA! It's worked for us so far.

So if I accept that, Toon is better than Jones and Childs?

I'm not certain he was the bpa

yeah, they prolly said, we don't really need to get our top ranked guy, let's skip down the board and take Toon.

Listen to the Vitt/Spags Hicks presser. He was their top ranked guy.

LOL wut? How so? Toon has some speed and is 6-1 7/8. Hass was 6-0/6-1 and nothing more than a slot guy. Toon will be a good #2 WR

According to the Saints war room, yes.

Just cuz some message board mock draft site following fans think otherwise doesn't faze me in the least.

So why does that mean he'll be working at a carwash in 4 years.

I was joking just based on how many draft picks are nowhere to be found after their rookie contract. Even the Saints miss the majority of the time.

We wont immediately know this but both of those guys are not the outside blocker that Toon is IMO.

I think Childs got knocked down a peg by a lot of people because of that knee injury

there are still some questions about how he's come back from getting hurt.

What about this pick are people upset with? Toon looks like a solid receiver and based on the coaches' interviews, he was clearly the best player on their board. We need anothe Colston type since he's injury prone. I can't question the FO at all here.

Toon was safest WR pick and most ready to play now left on the board. I would have liked Tommy Streeter and his upside more.

you're right

perhaps even more accurate...

the saints have one of the best yards per completion percentages in the NFL when it comes to drafting the past 6 years
