Brees’s first year here and we went from #2 in the draft to the championship game.

Redskins were picking 2nd this year and appear headed to the playoffs. And our team has more talent than them. They were a mess last year.

Only problem is I don’t trust Loomis. I knew Allen was a horrible hire, and he keeps doubling down on him, and making idiotic decisions on the cap and old players.

Likely stuck in the suck considering Loomis will never be fired, Loomis will not fire Dennis Allen, and the contract with Carr is very poor. We are already in cap hell. Considering the current state of our salary cap structure no decent Head Coach is going to want to touch the Saints with a 10ft pole.
