I think the coaches want Woz to be that guy who reports as an eligible receiver every now and then because of his catching ability and massive size. The Saints LOVE using 6 man lines, and if he can improve enough in Payton's eyes, he could be a nice weapon this year.

It’s fine when you miss, but do so in remotely the draft range where he was slotted. I would have much rather have missed on Leonard in the 7th round as that was his grade going into the draft.

On a positive note, I guess if he shows a little something in preseason, we can always steal him back from somebody else's practice squad just before he's roster ready.
