I have absolutely zero problems with spags. The defense improved tremendously over the course of the year, but our offense let us down

You must of ate a big bowl of clarity this morning.

also, the Saints out gained the Giants by nearly 100

And how many yards have we "out allowed" the giants?

Thanks for finally giving me something worth responding to, doug.

Jets are still ranked 8

and the Saints were 4th in 2010. They get to play Buffalo x2 and Miami x2

exactly, we hold giants under 400 yards, and our offense has 4 giveaways and we get effing spanked.

See, that's how I know you don't what the frick you're talking about. That game was on the offense and special teams.

F as a first ST post, question if it is just a pure troll job. Not far from the 'we need to draft Brees replacement' threads

The only way Spags isn't back is if no Payton back. If that is the case, figuring who the DC would be comes way secondarily after a HC. My take on that happening is 10% chance at the highest currently.

A lot more definitive issues to discuss here than such stretched speculative imagination.

i wanted to get to know you more deeply. so i was asking questions that felt pertinent to the situation.

pizza or steak is a very good question, IMO.

as far as this goes:

quote:

And how many yards have we "out allowed" the giants?

i don't even know what that means.

Offense can't do enough when we allow as many yards as we do

we had more 3 and outs in the 1st few weeks than all of last season on offense.

Look how many dropped balls we have

Thread title highly misleading, insulting, infringes upon NFL contract violations and is just fricking stupid.

I know we didnt have the season anyone really wanted, but what the frick happened to give the guy a chance? Spags game calling hasn't been attrocious, in fact a lot of it has been pretty spot on - but jesus christ, blaming him for missed takles or yardage allowed is not on him.

he can coach mediocre talent and players only so much, he can't make the Dline get off blocks, he can coach them on how, but the ultimate responsibility is on the player to execute.

When all is said and done, I personally have to say that for a rebuild year (new coach and totally different scheme) that the defense is looking pretty good. Just my two cents... They could have gotten worse. Instead, they have progressively improved throughout the year.

Pitching a shut out against what everyone already knew was an overratted Bucs team doesn't make up for the countless missed tackles, blow coverage's, soft pressure b.s. that dug us into this whole in the first place. We're still the worst D in the league as of right now

Hey guys our defense is finally getting used to the new system under spags and looks pretty good. Lets go make them learn a completely new system under a new coach again next year. Yay.
