Anybody else hearing about the Falcons having an interest in the Jets' Revis?

NYC sports talk radio mentioned this.

Give up a first round pick for a guy you may not even be able to keep more than a year..doesn't seem wise for anybody.

So they'll probably do it, out of panic.

I hope so. They will have to give up picks for a guy coming off an ACL tear, that they will either rent for 1 year, or have to pay a GIANT contract to, after paying Ryan a pretty big contract.

Sounds good to me.

And that's after giving up picks in drafts to move up for Jones. At some point, that depth issue will hurt them.

The entire NFL is interested in him. And the Falcons are in the same financial boat as the Saints. They will have to mortgage their future to gamble on this as the solution to their choke problems.

Falcons need DL and LB help...preferably ones who can tackle correctly.

Revis needs to stay with the NY Jets. I don't want to see him in Shat-Lanta.

I'd love to see him become a Saint, but, we can't afford him.

Falcons aren't going after Revis truly except to jack his price up for someone like the Saints. We can't afford him and honestly - he's a lot overrated lately. His play hasn't been up to the hype.

Regardless - NGT nailed it. ATL has concerns but truthfully, CB/S isn't one of them compared to a starting DE and depth at LB.

I really just don't see the Jets letting Revis go.. They're too much of a trainwreck. They need him.

What about a QB that doesn't melt in the playoffs?

Meh, good attempt. Matt Ryan played a good game against SF.

If you think anything else, you're trying to hard or don't know shite about football.
