He has Metcalf glued for the route intended. Metcalf was smart enough to continue it and Smith saw it.
Adebo did nothing wrong there because if he anticipates Metcalf continuing that route, he gives up an easy first down.

He's supposed to cover the guy, man, that's his job. You run with the guy, it's not that hard, I did it in highschool. He just lost him in coverage because he did a bad job like we're saying.

I did it well, really well, so well I shut down every receiver I faced in highschool. But I listened to people that said I too small to play at the NFL level and I could seriously get hurt. So, I gave up my dream and been regretting it ever since, anyways that was a long time ago. But Adebo is playing better now, I guess it took him a minute to get it together.
