He was drafted as a RB, not a WR, he is a bust.

Devin Hester is NOT a bust, and is more explosive than Bush.

Oh, that's right. I forgot return and receiving yards don't count for a RB. Silly me.

Huh? Reggie has played well this year.

Why isn't he successful running the ball inside? Why is he not a 20 or more carry per game RB? LaDainian and Westbrook are way more effective than Bush.

you are still looking him as a typical running back, which he clearly isn't.

and he's still the highest-paid RB in the league

i think he'd be the 2nd or 3rd highest-paid WR

and he's higher paid than the best return man of all time (devin hester)

this is normally when you "pretend" logoff to find a loophole to further your silly arguments.

they account for him differently than normal RBs. that's all they're saying

on the opposite end of that logic, they don't even account for him as a normal RB anymore

Dante Hall would be number two on that list.

Running style? Body type (Can't push the pile forward because he has skinny legs)? Difference in run blocking with him in there than with Deuce?

Why is he not a 20 or more carry per game RB?
See above.

And FWIW, screens are essentially an extension of the running game.

Because that's not his strong suit?

Did you expect him to be?

That's because of the idiotic way the NFL draft pay system is set up. They should have caps. You could say the say thing with Jamarcus Russell. Has he been worth that much money? The NFL draft is the issue, not reggie

Then you are an idiot.

And I would rather have an extremely productive back that has to split time rather than some idiot who is going to go for 3 or 4 yards 25 times a game with my first round pick.

Most teams carry two backs and split the load now. That's for a reason.

I will agree Bush is overpaid, but he not a bust.

yes you can, but QBs are judged differently in terms of expectations. this is JR's 2nd year and a QB investment generally doesn't pay off until year 4. RBs are supposed to give quick repayments on the investment

Making someone the highest paid player at their position based off of college hype just makes no sense to me no matter who it is. The NFL really needs a a sliding pay scale like the NBA

they just need to change the way the rookie cap is interpreted

I just think being a bust and being overpaid are 2 separate issues.

Oh, and LINK within a LINK

+1

Reggie is actually playing well, but his contract is way to big.

reggie isn't good because he doesn't play like a fullback.
