What? Zach has one of the most beautiful releases in the game. His pocket awareness isn't what Drew's is, but he's not completely brain dead back there. On top of that, he has two years of college experience and the strides he made going to Cam Cameron his second year were night and day. I'm not one of the "OMG LSU, SIGN HIM NOW" guys but if you don't think he has potential under a guru like Sean Payton and sitting behind Brees, you're crazy.

I agree, and this is why I'd say it would be worth looking at Mett.

He's got a great arm, something you either do or do not have (for example, I think his arm is much better than Grayson's).
When you look at Mett's leap in production his senior year, you see some signs that he can be coached up. His pocket presence went from abysmal, to fairly average at the college level.
His rookie year with the Titans wasn't pro bowl caliber by any stretch of the imagination, but he wasn't the biggest hole in the offense either (and consider that you're talking about a 6th rd rookie QB when you say that). 12 TDs and 14 INT, with no experience, an awful line, and on an overall bad offense (and team), isn't the end of the world.

I'd really be curious to see what he could learn under Payton, riding behind Brees for a couple of seasons.
