Hello Who Dats & welcome to the Saints Week 8/Game 8 Thread.
With November 1st on Tuesday, All Saints Day on your religion calendar & the day the NFL awarded New Orleans a franchise in your sports calendar, the team turns another year older and maybe they go new year, new team.
One thing that must change is the turnovers. The offense turned it over 3 times last week, 2 interceptions returned for touchdowns while 1 interception killed a Saints red zone opportunity. In fact, the Saints have thrown more pick-6s on the season than their defense has interceptions total. The offense must stop committing them and the defense must start forcing them.
But the new year of the Saints existence starts with... officially... a new QB1. Andy Dalton... even with last week's rough INTs... has apparently won the starting job from the now-fully healthy Jameis Winston. During Dalton's time as a fill-in, the offense has moved better more consistently, thus getting him the role. Now can the turnovers just stop... and when will he get the full set of receivers to throw to, if ever?
LET'S SINK THE RAIDERS AND GET BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN!!!!!!!
By the way, congrats to Devery Henderson, Fred McAfee, & Kevin Mangum on being enshrined to the Saints Hall of Fame this weekend.

If Waller doesn’t play, that’s a big boost to our chances.

Still not sure how we cover Adams

High scoring game?
Saints in da Dome in a Halloween "Thriller": 33-31
Not with the WR core down. 27-21 Saints

Didn’t realize we were playing an away game today. There’s more Raiders fans than Saints fans.

If we had Latt to cover Adams I would say Saints win. At least Waller is out.
Game is a tossup, but we'll know by 2q who showed up and who didn't.
