Saints 41

Colts 24

Saints were tight last game, had way too many 3 and outs and did not capitalize on the turnovers like we should have and YET still scored 31. we will be loose and ready. we will excel at converting 3rd downs and capitalizing on turnovers. The vikes have a better running game and a better defense than the colts. Colts will be lucky to score 30 but i doubt they get it. We keep them one dimensional, yet they still get their yards passing and some points but not nearly enough.

35-31 Saints. Manning throws a pick on final drive to seal the deal.

Arizona...I called a blowout {Check}

Minnesota...I called Hartley kicking winning FG {Check}

So here comes THE Superbowl prediction to complete the trifecta. This has been the Saints year starting from the first kickoff in the first game. I've gone back and forth on whether it will be close or very close. With Freeney's ankle injury, even if he plays, he won't wreck the same havoc as if he was healthy. The difference in this game will be the Saints running game. Thomas and Bush will lead a surprising effort, and behind a dominating performance from the OLine, the Saints win this going away.

Saints 42
Colts 27

{Addendum} I just had to add this because the main stream media hasn't and I doubt they even will touch on it because it is all about Peyton Manning this and Peyton Manning that. The Saints had to beat two future Hall-of-Fame QBS(Warner/Favre) on the way to the Superbowl. Who did the Colts have to beat? That's right! A second year QB in Joe Flacco, and a rookie QB in Mark Sanchez. The Colts D will have their hands full mentally as much as physically with Brees and the passing game. This will push that D back and on their heels, and the reason I have Thomas/Bush running wild. The Colts D has had it as easy as you can have it through the playoffs facing the one dimensional offenses of the Ravens and Jets. When they face the Saints offense Sunday, it will be like facing an Iron Mike Tyson in his prime, only with 10 arms hitting you instead of two.

well, it looks like you and I are on the same page as far as score prediction and the WHy we will win. I stated in another post titled BLOWOUT WIN, that THE SAINTS running game would be the difference really opening up the PA passing game of brees and decimating the colts secondary. We will run north-south between the tackles early and bust them in the mouth. then later, when they are crashing down to stop the dives, we will stretch them horizontally outside and burn them. they will be tired by then so their speed will be a non factor in the 3rd and 4th quarters after getting busted in the mouth the first half.
