Player surprises, worries & predictions thus far?

QB: Winston & Dalton have both seemed to be having good camps. Even Book has his moments
RB: Kamara is all-pro, behind concerns me. Aside from his all around energy we have not heard much at all about Ingram, is he a potential surprise cut? Ozigbo backup name I've heard mentioned the most, with Tony Jones Jr next then again nothing Abram Smith
WR: Thomas looking all-pro again, Landry & Olave both having good camps has me real excited. After that seems like Harty & Kirk Merrit names have popped up the most followed Easop Winston Jr. TQS a few times, but Callaway surprisingly quiet. Merrit's moments and Callways's lack thereof are the biggest surprises with this group for me
TE:Trautman seems to be having a nice camp, but Juwan Johnson has been very quiet. Hill is just getting reps after injury, but Vannett has had a few moments as well.
OL: Hurst has been surprising to not hear his name much(great thing for an OL), same for Peat, and we even heard a couple of praises for Ruiz. Ramczyk is still great. Penning at the least looks like a great backup option already. Haven't heard much about backups like Forrest Lamp or Calvin Throckmorton
DE: A lot of positives here from Jordan, Davenport, Turner, and even moments from Granderson and Taco. Kpassagnon has been surprisingly quiet
DT: Onyemata and Roach have come up the most, other than that it's been fairly quiet. Who will step up between Shy Tuttle, Kentavious Street, Jaleel Johnson or Jordan Jackson?
LB: Davis is all-pro, Werner looks good but a darn lingering groin injury. This position worries me most. After that Ellis is a good run defender, Baun hasn't really found his footing, Andrew Dowell was last year's camp beast but he's been quiet. Will Eric Wilson be the man to rise up? Do we bring back Joe Schoebert to sign to a deal?
CB: Secondary is strongest they've ever been. Lattimore, Adebo, Roby have all been having a great camp. CGJ and Taylor are both there
S: Maye & Mathieu are great, plus PJ Williams as a backup is just nasty

Surprises?
Dalton looking better than imagined.
The secondary from rookies to second year guys seems to have gotten even better.
Vanett TE started injured last year looks better than I thought so far. Troutman having a good camp so far as well. TE room may be OK.
Lutz really looking strong so far.
Gillikin they say has been coffin kicking like crazy. This coming off a 47.7 avg. last year.

My 2 biggest surprises would have to be Hurst, though he did play pretty well last year, and what we're hearing about Merrit. Looking forward to seeing them both in live action this weekend.
Callaway and Ingram both being pretty quiet are concerning.
LB is as well, unless Eric Wilson can really step up.
Overall this is as excited about a Saints team as I have been in the last 8 years or so. I loved Payton & Drew, but with them almost gave us a certain level of complacency that we'd just about automatically be good because we could count on them. Now we have to pay attention to everyone on the roster and count on them to make plays, it's very exciting

Ingram being quiet is a little concerning bc we all know he's on the backend of his career. I imagine he has 1-2 years left. He's entering year 12 and is/will be 33.
I am not as concerned about Callaway, although a little surprised. He will be the 5th WR, and even then he's battling another 6 guys for looks in the passing game: AK, MI, TJJ, Vannett, Trautman, Taysom. We also know he struggles against top CBs, and this team is loaded with them.
I wonder how much of Hurst looking good is him finally getting reps, or the extra motivation from drafting Penning.
