Yeah I thought it was weird he would have to practice first for that long, but it seemed like a credible source so I didn't go recheck.

i think its a team decision thing, not by any rule
they usually want to bring an inactive player up to speed gradually so he wont be reinjured or pull something after being out so long

I don't think we added anyone to the roster after cutting Swoope. Pretty sure that we're at 52 total players right now.
Are we saving that spot for Ginn? I would think we would've already added someone else if that wasn't the case.
It's rare (for the Saints, at least) to go into gameday with only 52 on the roster.
