If you think the Saints game is bad, check out the look-in coverage on NFL Network. They'll show 5-6 plays in one game, move to the next one, and so on.
In each game, the officials make some dumbass call, call the wrong number, or completely miss obvious penalties. The announcers of each game mention it over and over.
There will be a major ref screw-up that costs a team a win very early.

Deverys touchdown call was epically bad. These refs are taking foooreeveerr too. They have killed the pace of the game.

The replay official in the NFL just tells the crew on the field to review it. The person making the decision, however, is the Referee, who is a replacement official.

Incorrect. The booth reviews all scores, they are not field officials, nor are they replacements.
