this is like the movie Mr. 3000, they took away his record and he had to come back and get it.

This.

Tulanetigerfan puts Lisa Ann's head game to shame when it comes to his boy Peyton Manning.

I'm sure Brees had a backwards pass or two in 2011 that didn't get overturned if you went back and studied every pass

I hate that everyone keeps saying this. Wrong wrong wrong.

Every single Monday and Tuesday Elias reviews every play of every game and does stat corrections by wednesday. Therefore, no there were no mistakes during Brees entire season.

Haven't you ever played fantasy? You always have to wait until Wednesday to know of you truly won. I was in a league this year in which someone won by .7 of a point. Wednesday morning when stat corrections were released, one players reception was changed to a lateral. Being a point per reception league, that fantasy team was deducted exactly 1 point and loss.

They get all stats correct, many contracts have stat based incentives and bonuses.

NFL spokesman Michael Signora tells me Peyton Manning's pass will remain as call. So Manning keeps the record by one yard over Drew Brees.

I don't really care much, and Manning would have easily broken the record if given another series, but that was clearly a backwards pass.

I like how the record was "dumb" until your boy was about to lose it.

I posted last night that it was a cool record to have, but not as impressive as the passing td record. In the grand scheme of things it's not really that important for Manning's legacy

As it should. It's his record.

As it should be.

Manning haters care more about this particular record than the sheriff himself.

completely absurd logic to have.

what about the fact that Brees threw a few less passes that year and was also more accurate than Manning was? Brees completed over 71% of his passes and Manning was at 68%.

also if you watched Manning this season then you will know that at least 15 of his touchdown passes either came during garbage time or were stat padding 1 and 2 yard TD passes whenever they could have easily ran the ball.

point being ... the touchdown record is no more impressive than the yardage record is. the only reason that you're saying that the touchdown record is more impressive is because it benefits Manning.

Huh? Everything you just posted was completely irrelevant to what you quoted. You aren't the smartest knife in the drawer, eh?

This is incredibly stupid also. Points are king, because you know, the entire objective of an offense is to SCORE POINTS.
