Jmo but I don't think nnamdi is going to be a Saint
If he were it would have happened already

I'm holding out hope that he hasn't signed Bc Loomis isn't here. But then again, didn't Watson and Humbar sign when he wasn't here?

So in the case of the Saints it would have already happened, but in the case of the 49ers...?

San Fran fans are probably saying this too.
Until he signs elsewhere, I will remain cautiously optimistic.
The saga continues

I wonder if the Saints are maybe testing the water on a few OLBs like Butler and Dumervil or maybe another OT before they commit more money to corner?

Dumervil ain't happening.
We really don't even know if Butler is on the Saints' radar.
I'm fairly confident they have made an offer to Nnamdi but there are so many rumors around the situation not worth repeating.

It's hard to get too excited about the idea of the New Orleans Saints signing free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha
Wait...what? How is hard to get excited? If anything, it's too easy to get excited.

New plan for Asom. At 6'2" 210lbs and having lost 1/2 a step Saints will move him to FS and move MJ elsewhere.
My outside source confirmed this also.

Jenkins down to CB.

I've actually thought they may do something like that if they do sign nnamdi. Not sure if it would be him, lewis, or greer though.
Out of those 3 I think lewis would actually do well being that he played zone and has a knack for making a play on the ball. Nnamdi and greer do too well in man(and suck in zone) and I don't think they'd want to lose that.
And yes jenkins back to corner. He played much better there.

12. Outside linebacker Victor Butler -- The typical starting 3-4 rush linebacker plays roughly 1,000 snaps per year. Buried behind DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer in Dallas, Butler has played 803 career snaps across four seasons, per Pro Football Focus. He's efficiently parlayed them into 11 sacks and four forced fumbles. Just 26, potential hidden gem Butler has been pursued by the Steelers and Jets. He really wants to reunite with Rob Ryan in New Orleans.
