I want those two.

I would be extremely happy if those two are all we signed at this point.

I'd be ecstatic if we just got one.

Namdi definetly takes priority though.

Once we get him, then we can get Butler.

If we can grab both, this will a great offseason for the defense.

Have the Saints even talked to Butler? Or is it just speculation on our part

I'm afraid at this point it's probably this.

If we do land Nnamdi, this will make back to back seasons of defensive upgrades.

Lofton was a great pick up last season, and one of the few bright spots. I still think Hawthorne could be a solid player as well.

Then we'd have Lewis and Nnamdi.

I like what we have on the d line with Hicks, Bunkley and Jordan, would like a little more depth.
I like what we have going for ILB (Lofton/Hathorne)
We have potential threats at OLB in Wilson and Galette
Harper sucks in coverage but fits in this scheme. Jenkins and IAQ could be serviceable.
Then we'd have some very solid, potentially really good corner depth with Nnami, Lewis, Greer
If we could pick up a solid OLB threw FA or the draft, I think we'll see a pretty damn good defense, and with the offense that Saints have, the defense doesn't have to be anything great - just decent/good.

yeah, I'm hoping Hawthorne will bounce back this year. Not really sure if he ever found a groove last year but then, I guess you could say that about other guys on the defense.

my pipe dream is Ogletree for the draft. Kid has a ton of speed. Having him and Hawthorne rotating would be pretty sweet in my opinion.

Anyone know how Romeus is coming along? he could be a beast as well... at 6-5 265, 7th rounder could be the colston of the defense....
