Some people don't understand the difference between viewing/watching. The point I was making is I don't understand why anyone would attend the NFL draft. Seems to be a lot of waiting around to hear a player name that most fans never heard of or wanted to be selected.

I would never attend a pillow fighting championship or watch it since I viewed it while channel surfing. Then again some people can't differentiate from attending an event or viewing/watching an event. Like I said previously I'll watch the first round but not devoting my weekend for rounds 2-7.

New Orleans likes a party. The NFL draft is a big event party. Would be an economic boom for downtown

I doubt this happens. The NFL wants to give the draft to northern city's that are too cold to host the Super Bowl but have nice spring weather. Places that will never host a Super Bowl. Green Bay gets it this year and Pittsburgh next year.

Have you seen the size of the Draft in other cities?

They would need massive space and Champions Sqaure is definitely not big enough for that.

It wouldn't be indoors either so SKC isn't an option. It's just a pipe dream to convince other events to come to the city

NOLA, rightfully so, should be in main consideration for any and every event.

This. We should have already hosted the draft.
