My hopes and wishes for us to get back

1. Finish this year with a top 3 pick.
2. In the draft, trade down from top 3 to 7-10 range. If you can pick up additional 2026 1st, even better.
3. Draft Will Campbell or one of the Texas OT. Build the o line to be ready for a franchise QB.
4. Work the draft board the rest of the draft but do not trade up. Leave the 2025 draft with at least 8 drafted players.
5. For the 2025 season- plan to be the worst or one of the worst teams. Take your salary cap dead money hits so that 2026 cap can be as clean as possible. No contract restructuring.
6. 2026 FA- spend on mid priced WR or other needs to setup a young QB to be successful.
7. Draft Arch Manning with your high draft pick.
Saints fans would go crazy over having Archie’s grandson as the young, franchise QB. He will have a good o line, some weapons, and salary cap room to grow with. Future would be bright. The NFL loves the Manning family and we would be a media darling bc of that.

Travis Hunter is amazing….but I’m concerned about injury risk. Especially playing some on both sides. He misses time in college already. Plus, I think a team should be built from inside first then add skill positions.
He will sell jerseys, make highlight some highlight plays when healthy, but not revive a franchise.
Reminds me of Reggie Bush. All-time college player who was def not a franchise rescuer in the NFL. Without Drew, Reggie’s career would have been awful.

If you're trading out of the top 3 you damn well BETTER be picking up a future first.
