15. James Pearce Jr. (EDGE Tennessee) trade
40. Kenneth Grant (DT Michigan)
46. Xavier Watts (S Notre Dame) trade
48. Tre Harris (WR Ole Miss) trade
111. Elijah Arroyo (TE Miami)
130. Chase Lundt (OT/OG UConn)
186. Teddye Buchanan (LB California)
250. Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB Arizona)
254. Jason Marshall Jr. (CB Florida)

Picked up a few extra seconds trading out of 9. Focused on building our D-Line with first two picks. I think Pearce and Grant are perfect fits for our new defensive scheme.

Snagged a leader in Watts and couldn't pass on the talented Harris.

Was then able to grab Arroyo at TE in the 3rd. Think he can be a real playmaker in Kellen's offense.

Lundt can play guard or tackle. Versatile big guy.

Took flyers on LB, RB, and CB late but liked their profiles. Wish I could have picked up a corner earlier.

Let me know your thoughts.

This is good. Only thing i don’t like is the lack of an olineman till the 4th. But, overall this is ideal, you got 4 instant starters. Pearce scares the daylights out of me with his character concerns and his vertical (lacks lower body power and explosion) but, his ceiling is really high.

Getting two extra second to move from 9 to 15 is probably ambitious… but I think I’d do it for even one extra second. I like a move down to the mid teens this draft.

I don’t think we have a shot at arroyo in the third though, he’d probably need to be a second rounder

I don’t want Tre Harris, personally. Route tree is too limited.

Like the rest of it though

Probably should’ve added more context here. lol I traded 9 for 13 and 46, then I traded 13 for 15 and 48 to end up with picks 15, 40, 46, and 48. More realistic in the mock drafting world lol.

Also, agree on Arroyo. Think the only thing that would allow him or Harris to slip would be health concerns. Would be great in the black and gold

We SHOULD NOT draft defense in the 1st rd no matter how far we trade back! This draft is loaded with DLine,LB and CB....we need to get our offense set with the 1st pick

I like Pearce as an athlete but the character issues would need to be vetted extensively.

If it’s one thing Moore has stressed so far about the type of locker room he demands it’s high character players and leaders.

However if those issues turn out to be accurate I’m ok with passing on him. Fwiw in that scenario I could see him landing in Philly. They have a system set up to manage and grow players like that apparently. And that’s ok too.
