Funny you keep saying that but that 2 sack de had the same odds or close to it to win DPOY on most Vegas boards as Abdul Carter who was taken at 3 overall weeks ago.

as if a DE holds the positional value as QB

Once again, I never said that. I said there’s a huge bust rate for quarterbacks. Especially ones taken outside the first round. Stats back me up on this. Feel free to argue otherwise.

It was a huge gamble for a team with what most experts agree was the least talented roster in the nfl.

It is funny how you slant your argument from implying Ezeriku sucks to now his positional value is lower when I call you out on it.

Take the L

Ezeriku had 2 sacks in 17 games as a rookie. Payton Turner had 1 in 5 games. And Ezeriku got arrested 2 weeks ago

That was a great interview. Thanks for posting, Proximo!

Some of my thoughts on the interview:

I don’t know why people don’t think we draft RBs early. Ricky Williams, Deuce, Reggie Bush and Mark Ingram were all first round picks and we moved up in the early third to get Kamara.

It was good getting his take on how the coaches weigh in on who they want. You can tell Sean had a lot of influence on who was and wasn’t drafted.

I’m intrigued by how Ireland widdles down his draft board and how there might only be a few players left for each pick.

Sounds like he knows the OL needs to be fixed. I was disheartened that he mentioned Ruiz along with McCoy, Fuaga and Banks. I have a feeling Ruiz will be back next year. I could see Winnie’s hope of drafting Fano coming true too.
