I don't see anyone can question Ingram's power based on what we've seen so far. He can straight plow over defenders

Exactly. all he lacks at this point is Pierre's instinctiveness in hitting the holes Seems to be a little tentative at this point.

A lot of analysts predicted Rookie of Year for Ingram. He han't Burst on the scene ala CJ or AP.

A lot of backs take time to get comfortable. He'll be fine.

If he would get 20 carries a game. He'd start dominate and wearing the defense down. That is where he makes his money. He hits overdrive when his legs are about to fall off. It's pretty amazing.

He isn't being used correctly. Also, I would say he is slight abv average. . not spectacular on catching the ball out of the back field. He never had a problem with it at 'Bama.

I just think that Pierre Thomas is quicker off the pass and shiftier and that is why Ingram isn't used as much.

Also, like someone said. Everytime Ingram is in . .he pretty much gets the ball. It's not hard to put 8 in the box when he is in there to stop the run.

I agree. We brought him in to get a yard period. So far not so good.

Yeah cause Sean Payton is a terrible coach with a ring and this is college football

Newsflash. This isn't bama. It's the NFL and so far not so good. Maybe Sean would be more willing to feed him if he could get a yard or wouldn't fumble. Pierre Thomas is clearly the better back at this point.

well SP has had issues establishing a legit running game for the vast majority of his career here

Payton does not use the RB in the traditional way they are merely extensions to the passing game...personally I wish he would flat out run the ball more....we have the horses and Drew will be absolutely deadly with playaction
