That's a lot of beans.

I didn't like his film from college... Super bust already though?

It depends on how high up on the board getting another OLB is and that also depends on what we do in free agency. Let's say for the sake of the argument that we go with one of the corners or safeties in the first our OLB options in the second (going off of Walter's mock):
Telvin Smith (mid-3rd)
Marcus Smith (mid-3rd)
To me, a 2nd for Jordan is a no-brainer

Not surprising. Check out his Oregon film, it wasn't unusual for him to line up at slot CB. I would absolutely give up our second for him, but I doubt that would be enough. It's a deep draft, so maybe our 2nd + 4th? Would only cost us about $8m over the next three seasons. I have no idea if the 5th year team option transfers over for traded players, but I'd imagine it does. He was one of my favorite prospects in last year's draft and I'm not going to change my mind based on a mediocre rookie season with a shite franchise. Would not give up our first, though, simply because OLB isn't really a need for us given that we line up in 4 man fronts so often.
I'd LOVE to get Jordan.
Miami doesn't even run the right system for him, moronic draft pick.

Exactly. If OLB was a huge need for us, I'd give them 27. Like I said earlier, I'd still give them our 2nd in a heartbeat

According to my friend (a Dolphins fan), it's a mix of things.
1. Jordan is very raw
2. Jordan is out of his element in a 4-3
3. Depth issues with Cam Wake and Vernon
4. (This is just rumor right now) Apparently he's an Ireland guy that the front office really wasn't behind

Miami gets our first round pick
We get Jordan and their 3rd pick.
Without researching, I feel like we do better with 3rd round picks than first round picks.
