Oh, and for the more depressing news of the day, every single person I've looked up height and weight for is officially younger than me

Can't wait. God knows I read a draft saying we were gonna trade up for Von Miller

Robert Quinn's stock almost solely on the combine

Miami probably has a radar lock on Ingram, but he has a lot riding on his 40 time.

There's also that group group of about 5 or 6 mid to late first round picks that have a chance to seperate themselves

meant to say 5 or 6 mid-late round DE/OLBs to be more specific

Aldon Smith
Watt
Clayborn
Jordan
Bailey
Heyward
Houston
Kerrigan

...are all basically jumbled together at this point

Yeah same here. If the Saints really covet another DE theyll be able to get one

For the Saints my preference would be in this order-
Jordan, the most complete of them all
Watt, complete but maybe not quite as much rush speed as Jordan
Clayborn, as much physical talent as Jordan but he his head and commitment are big question marks
Kerrigan, like him a lot but showed up light at the Sr Bowl, makes me wonder if he has the bulk for 4-3DE
Aldon Smith, very similar to Houston, might just be a 3rd down rusher to start off, maybe more of a DE than Houston but still a question mark
Houston, like Smith but more 3-4 OLB that would have to make fit
Bailey, stock going down, all world tools ho hum game tape
Heyward, good guy but a 4-3 Alex Brown or 3-4DE type

in my dream mock I had the Saints trading up to 19 for Jordan

I really wish he had a decent game. He's got a chance to be a stand up in the Patriots scheme.

well if you think those are depressing wait till your putting your date of birth on-line for some reason...you look over at that long long bar on the right for the year you were born and you can't see it any more. Not there. You have to use the scroll down key to see if it even goes that far.

Dang.

meat it might serve us better to have 3 threads...

Saints Potential DE, DT, & LB Draft Pick Stock Watch

The DE end one is the focus right now like here. It fits the need greatly and there are a large number of candidates.

LB & DT could fit the bill for playmaker but I see smaller lists of those who fit.

Make one. I have that Mock Draft Database thread too. I added mine to that. We can put all of ours in there too. If admins would sticky it.
