"I think the commissioner made a good decision," Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said Monday. "It's his responsibility and he knows a lot more about it than the rest of us do, so I think he made a good decision.
"In terms of whether we're interested in (Vick), we've said in the past that we're not, and I don't foresee that changing. But hey, you never know."

Again, I wonder if we're just so mind numbingly bored with regards to being in the dead thick awfullness of the offseason which is why we're all saying we'd like to sign Vick.
That might be my reason, but I still think it would be a smart move.
IMHO this PETA and protesting and "off field distraction" stuff is overblown. It will fizzle quickly - especially when Vick gets a chance to speak, apologize publicly as a team employee, and start doing local charity work.
