And who did not even turn out for the games when we had to play in Baton Rouge after Katrina and who resented the Saints being in their beloved Tiger Stadium........

OK, we'll keep Devery.

I wouldn't shed a tear if Randall Gay went away, though......

I'd take Kyle Wilson from Boise if he was there... he would add depth

you need to keep your mouth shut bout shite you don't know bout. You forget that half of new Orleans was in baton rouge at that time. Alot of people had alot of shite on their plate at that time.
I'm so sick of hearing how BR turned their back on the saints.
Go support ole piss and leave louisiana sports to us

The question is who will be there when we draft.

Facts are facts.

And the Saints belong to the whole Gulf region, as any of the players or coaches would tell you, not just to New Orleans or to Louisiana.

Oh, and, never mind Baton Rouge, go to Shreveport and see how many Saints fans you find there--maybe two dozen among the sea of Cowboys' fans......

As soon as you start paying taxes for them, they can belong to the entire Gulf Coast

We gladly would....and if Louisiana gives Benson trouble again, don't be surprised if his threats to move the team to Bay St. Louis turn out not to be a bluff.....

Anyway, this is a silly "argument" to have when we should all be united in celebration......I was just kidding around with the "no LSU players" remark........

Peterson. That's it, but not really a need. Depends on where in the draft they are available at. Tigers don't have as many pro prospects this year and the ones that are don't seem to fit our needs.

It wasn't the "no lsu players" comment that got me. I know lsu spits ou. More pro talent than ole piss ever will. It's when you started talking bout BR people not attending saints games in tiger stadium when you have probably been to one saints game your whole life. And yeah they're gonna move the saints to bay of st Louis. That will boost the crowds!

No.

In fact, more and more NFL teams are putting their stadiums in outlying areas, which makes stadium access and parking much more convenient.

The Patriots' stadium, for example, is halfway between Boston and Providence and a good thirty miles from downtown Boston.....and, of course, the Giants stadium is well out in New Jersey.

The new stadium in "Los Angeles" is actually in San Gabriel, far from downtown LA......

Other cities buck the trend, but this is becoming much more common.....

Why in the hell would anyone want to go to Bay St. Louis to watch a NFL game?

I just answered that.

Ease of access.

It is much easier to get to Bay St. Louis from the entire North Shore than it is to get to downtown New Orleans, for example.

Now, that said, I think the stadium should remain in the city, but to think it is out of the question that it would be put outside of town somewhere--well, it just is not....
