I like how the argument for trading Brees is his bad decision percentage from 5 years ago. Just because Cutler had a better 3rd year doesn't mean that he will ever be on Brees's current level.
And who really cares about the age difference. Breed still should have another 5 or so good years, but you get Cutler and extend him 2 years and you have no idea if he will re-sign with the Saints. And all of this is ignoring the cap consequences of trading Brees.

i dont see why its that stupid to discuss it when there's absolutely nothing else going on right now..
unless actually talking about who the saints board faithful wants to draft actually has a bearing on what we'll do, or if bitching about reggie's touches will actually change how he is used in the offense

and yes it is THAT stupid. it is THAT stupid to think that ANYONE on the Saints board would logically AGREE to trade drew and AGREE with all the negative bullshite that you and gatorhater or whatever his sign name is is talking. that my friend is not a conversation to start simply because it is a dead period in the season.
oh, i got a good idea. let me go on the steelers website and talk about trading polamolu and rothlesberger for cutler and whoever. that sounds like some good ole' healthy conversation. or how about the colts. manning aint getting any younger either. let me scoot on over to that forum for a great campfire conversation.
