Latavius Murray Appreciation ThreadPosted by atrain5

Dude has been solid since he came to NOLA. Doesn't have the personality and the swagger that Mark Ingram brought, but i think his production has been better than Ingram's.
His downfield speed can't be over looked, hell, I cant find the clip but he broke one of the best LBs in the league, Deion Jones, down yesterday. It seems every time he touches the ball its a 5+ yard gain, which is great to have as a compliment to Kamara's style of play. Love giong between the tackles too and actually making something out of it

He's been pretty good.
I will say it's pretty infuriating to see a wide open lane to the outside and Murray decides to slam it up the middle instead for a gain of 3.

yeah, I think Ingram had far better vision, but Murray has still been very solid for us

Agreed but Murray is also like 4 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier than Ingram...I know defenses get tired of tackling him

After the Pierre Thomas/Ingram years one thing that is still striking to me is how big Murray is...even on TV that dude looks huge
