Lance Moore and Piere Thomas are great football players with great attitudes. They truly put forth their best effort every week. Proud to have them on my team.

Ask Drew who his number 1 receiver is on this team...and i bet he says "oh that's easy, Lance Moore"

i doubt brees would say this, even if its how he felt. moore has been here for a while...colston put up huge numbers the past two seasons and has been hurt this year... are yall really saying lance moore is a better receiver than marques colston now? really?

moore has played in almost twice as many games this season as colston. moore has around 700 yards and colston has around 300.

colston and moore have both been on the saints roster from 06-08. they are both 25 years old. colston has been money the last two seasons. moore-not so much.

moore has been great, and thats good, he is a great #2 wide receiver, but to say he is our best receiver is ridiculous after three 100 yard games in 08.

I believe they are saying he is our best receiver RIGHT NOW. Until Colston starts to play like he has his first two years in the league, Lance is our best right now. I believe Colston is still the man, but hell it don't hurt to have other guys playing lights out you know?

ya, no doubt...moore is a stud, im a fan. it just gets aggravating to me when people make big leaps after a couple of good performances-like moore is our best receiver(i understand the RIGHT NOW argument so maybe this one doesnt apply) and PT is easily the best running back on our team. PT and Moore have been good and i like them-but in their time with the saints they have not been consistently good. they deserve praise but we don't know if this play will continue...not yet anyway. i have little doubt that colston will return to form. why should i doubt that? he has been nothin but great for us. he's not old, he isn't losing a step or anything.

Agree..At least hes a really good player..Ppl who are tryin to justify Jason David is a lockdown corner now are the people I want to take behind the shed and put them out of their misery

exactly...i am happy with JD's performance and i have not been an advocate for cutting him, but we can't say he's a lockdown corner unless he plays like this over a lot of games (same goes with PT and Moore).

The only difference PT and Moore never really got there shot until now and have proven they are legit players..JD had his shot and has proven he will play poorly more times than playin well
