Which LSU Tiger would make the most sense for the Saints to draft in the first round next year?

Personally, I hope we draft OLB Sergio Kindle from Texas, but what LSU Tiger would you like to see in the Black and Gold?

Man, Charles Scott sure could bring back fond memories of Deuce.

Scott won't run fast enough in the forty to be a 1st rounder IMO. I say 2nd or early 3rd for Scott.

I would say that I would pick Ciron Black with the 32nd pick without question. I doubt he would be available since I think he is suppose to be closer to a top 10 pick.

I love Ciron, but I think his stock will fall after the combine and workoutsand will be lucky to be a first rounder. I also don't think Scott will be a first rounder.

LaFell will be a great pro.

And for all the assholes bashing people the past couple of years for wanting to draft LSU guys, wouldn't you like having Hester and Steltz right about now. And the fact that we didn't make a move to get RJF in the 7th when he moved up for a punter is just disgusting.

Barring injuries to current Saints' players, we really don't need any of them, but if Hill or Donaldson don't work out as a power back my vote goes to Scott.

Errr... no neither has done anything in the pro's so why would we want to have them?
Now had you thrown out Forte, Webster, Landry, James, Green, Faneca, even Roman back in day then yes I would love to have them.

Are you talking about Matt Forte?

Because he played for Tulane.

yes I know but same situation as with LSU players, he was considered a homer pick because he played for Louisiana school.
Many people believed he would not be as good as he is and people were saying Saints should draft just because he came from Louisiana.

Lafell late in 1st, Scott late 2nd, and Perry Riley in 4th

I think, in all seriousness, a Scott/Black draft is a possibility. Im thinking Black for 31st pick and Scott will be the drafts second round over achiever. I just think they both have monster seasons but The 40 Time Myth hurts Scott.

Hopefully we won't be high enough in the draft order to pick Kindle.

+1

scott/black is a legit "homer" possibility! Black will be the 2009 Andre Smith of the SEC, minus the combine screw up.

With the 32nd pick in the 2010 NFL draft the New Orleans Saints select safety and left handed pitcher Chad Jones.
