The #Falcons are hosting Pro Bowl FA safety Justin Simmons on a visit today and tomorrow, sources say. Atlanta was hit with injuries at the position, and Simmons is a potential answer.

Simmons, the top free agent available, also recently visited the rival #Saints .

Get someone for the O-line.

Look our OL blows and there isn't any fixing it with who is currently on the market. Our best chance is to be incredible on defense and to win some 17-14 type games.

So you're telling me that Trevor The Ice Dancing Polar Bear Penning is better than anyone on the open market ? GTFO

Simmons would be great but the current safeties are serviceable.

Penning falls into a category far below serviceable

They have a few good players left.

Leno jr and glowinski. Tackle and guard.

Some of these guys are ancient but would be a big improvement for 1 season.

Donovan Smith
David Bakhtiari
D.J. Humphries
Jason Peters
Charles Leno
Billy Turner
Duane Brown
Riley Reiff

Leno may not be able to pass a physical yet.

Agreed. As much as we too suck if he goes to Scatlanta, I'd much rather bolster the O-line. Our D-backs are actually pretty damn good.

You for sure see if you can get someone at tackle before signing Simmons.

The safeties are decent. I like howden but not sold on him as the starter going forward. He could go either way. Might just be suited better as the #3.

Right. I said that in the other thread.

He will probably go to a team that loses their left tackle.

Dj Humphries is another guy you could put at rt. He also has injury issues. He played some rt early in his career before switching to left.

Shite I'd even bring Jason Peters in to compete for a spot at guard. He probably will sign with a contender.

Leno jr had surgery in March for his hip. So anywhere from 6 to 9 months. I honestly don't think he is going to be the guy anyway. He can get a job at lt easily.

I guess they could sign reiff for a couple mil with a couple mil in playing incentives. He hasn't been healthy the past 2 yrs tho.

Hopefully someone wants to trade their vet tackle that got beat out.

Please do not break out the checkbook for a 30 year old safety. We're not winning shite with or without him. Us paying big money for safeties hasn't work out well.

Doesn't seem like anyone does

But we have 10.7 and ATL has 3.5 in space.

I don't see them overpaying either

I'm sure atlanta could make space to sign him.

He isn't going to get a crazy contract at this point in time.

I think he probably gets around 7
