Winston Churchhill

Refused to read anything that was at least double spaced

Please list all those many posters who belive JW IS the long term solution at QB. Name a couple. Maybe I missed the post. I'm not getting younger.

Reread this thread

And there have been many on this board that think we can “win” with Winston.

Those losers have a different definition of winning than I have

Jameis has never won. And never will. But they love him. I consider this a comedy board when I need a laugh.

I take comfort that I’m not alone in this world

And just to be clear

I would love nothing more than to win it all with him

I’m an optimist and a realist

don’t have a problem taking Pickett this year

But we better be ready to take another QB next year

Would be a bad move to do both. You either grab Pickett and have him sit under Winston then give him a shot, or you get assets now and grab a QB next year. Would not be a good move to grab Pickett then immediately abandon him by going QB again

Yea I know Winston will never be winner, and he could never live up to standards of all the winning qbs in Saints history.
Give me a break, people talk about how great Brees was at qb and I do agree he is the best thing to ever happen to the saints, but the guy won, one super-bowl in his tenure here.
You don't know what the future holds for Winston and neither do I, but I think it is a little immature to write him off as a complete failure at this point in his career.

again

Ok that makes sense

And hopefully that’s the Saints plan.

Do we know the QB talent coming out next year?

Serious question

I’m reading this years crop is underwhelming

Not what I posted about nor your quote in the OP title. Your title is what you said that some here keep believing that he is the long term guy. I asked you to name them...some or two or one

Its the actual title of your op

Ok

You are correct

I’ll repeat

Under the circumstances, I think we made a good move in signing Winston to this very friendly deal

Smart move.

So now.

What QBs do we go after (now or next year) to be our next guy to win a SuperBowl for us
