June 1st cuts question

Any cuts designated as a June 1st cut, their cap savings technically don't go on the books till June 1st, well after the team has to get under the cap an alternative way? Is that correct in a nutshell?

Thomas i think was always planned to be a june 1st cut the way they designed that extension.
Maye is another decent june 1 option. Saints have some interesting decisions to make on players like peat, ram, taysom, maye, demario, hurst etc.

Yes it’s written into MTs contract that if he’s not restructured prior to the start of the league year he’s automatically designated as a June 1st cut.
Winston is another that could be designated as A June 1st cut though iirc it’s not in his contract like MTs.
