Bu, but, but, didn't you hear? Benson sent Joe a letter telling him he'd better get his arse on TV and Newspapers saying those things, or Benson was going to kid nap his whole family and torture them with needles and vinegar and bamboo shoots!!!!

If Willie Roaf ended up on TV and in media reports, yes it would. I don't want to hear shite about JH didn't mean to. bullshite. He sat in seats where he would be recognized and instead of saying, thanks but lets focus on the Saints success instead of me, he's lapping up the fricking attention. FAIL.

It's the biggest game in the dome this franchise has ever witnessed and he wanted to be there for it. SO what.

So he used the opportunity to get NOLA (and to a lesser extent, ESPN, Fox, etc) talking about JH again. How can you not see it?????

There are ways for celebs/athletes/musicians to do things without drawing attention to themselves.

Keep acting like he didn't say shite about city Chad. Your man-crush for Joe will only grow deeper.

I can't find links but I remember a few things:

Move the team.

We lost in PO's because I didn't get the ball.

We'll never get over the hump because I'm the only "player" on this team.

(when asked about players wives situation contributing to his move to ATL) He was very confrontational and made it sound like if he was gonna do stuff in his personal life, good or bad, the media should stay out of it. Ahhh, right Joe. So if you're banging another players wife, it's no one's business and it doesn't hurt the team at all... What ever.

Let's make one thing clear... Joe Horn never fricked Roaf's wife. I keep hear this being talked about. Holy frick.

That's my only real beef with him. The fact that he thougt he was bigger than the coach and the team.

And you know this how? Because you hunt with a current Saint? Just as we cannot provide proof that he did, you cannot provide proof that he didn't. FTR, I believe what others here have said, that the Roafs wife stuff was a screen for something else he was up to. What that was, I don't know.

Yes, I'm aware. But finding a couple of blurbs about JH from 6 years ago are tough to come by at this point. I remember his attitude and those few things/snippets I posted. Just because media outlets don't archive back that far, doesn't mean they don't exist.

And that's a mistake he's paid the price for. But I don't feel a need to throw his whole career under the bus with our organization when 95% of it was great.

I'm not throwing his whole career under the bus. I'm just saying if he feels he's underappreciated by the Saints it's probably because of the way he left and where he went.

That's fine. I'm not giving him sympathy for feeling that way. I can understand a bit why he feels that way but I also understand why the organization did what they did.

But all that does not in any way translate to a frick you joe horn. Heaven forbid if Drew couldn't agree on a contract extension with the Saints and has beef with payton over something... everyone will say frick you drew.

When the city was in it's darkest hour Joe Horn said the team shouldn't go back. Now five fricking years later he comes out with some "behind the scenes" bullshite about what he really told the NFL, as if the placement of the franchise rested solely on Joe's shoulders. Again, it's all about Joe. Like I asked you earlier. WHERE THE frick WAS JOE HORN LAST YEAR WHEN THE SAINTS WENT 8-8? If Joe Horn was really about the Saints he wouldn't have fricked around in '06 and just shut his fricking mouth. Payton is a leader and what he brings to this organization is vastly superior to anything Joe Horn EVER did.

So did the owner of the team. Either get the frick over it or quit being a hypocritical dip shite.

I'd like to believe that if Drew's skills had dimished and he was always injured like Horn was during his last days with the Saints that I'd be able to say "frick Drew" if he was insisting on a contract worth more than his market value. But I don't know if I could.

Personally I believe Drew has meant more to this franchise than any player in history. Way more than Joe ever meant.

Difference is Benson gets to make up for it by putting his money where his mouth is. He said something stupid but then turned around and devoted everything he had to the Saints. Joe Horn just decided it's been long enough for Joe Horn to be under a fricking rock. Time to get his name back out there. He's a piece of shite in my eyes and always will be.
