at grown men wearing jerseys.

I used to be in this camp, but it's getting the point where the NFL is so hugely popular and regular season games are so meaningful that it's acceptable to wear an authentic quality jersey on gameday.

I still wouldn't be caught dead in a silk screened replica, but I think I would wear a fitted, sewn jersey with jeans to the games.

NS Who Dat Nation,

Can you help me out a bit? I want a good fit on my jersey from 101.

What size tshirt or knit polo do you usually wear, and what size jersey did you get? How does the jersey fit?

I wear a 42/44 suit jacket and a Large tshirt/knit polo shirt. If I want a tight fit (not skin tight, but nowhere near the brothers who wear XXXXXL's) what size jersey do you think I should order?

I really appreciate it.

Nothing wrong with this either. If you are supporting your team, who cares.

The replicas are shite. You look like Jake Delhomme with your dorky sleeves flopping all over the place.

The sewn jerseys look sweet, and the sleeves actually have elastic collars on them which is what the pros really use (except for Jake the hick).

Not sure about the jacket sizes and everything. Your best bet is to go to the Black and Gold Shop, Mike's Din, or somewhere that sells Jerseys and try them on until you get the right fit. Then order one from Jersey101 and it should be right. I might would order 1 size bigger just in case. The sleeves are sweet on this thing bcs they actually are fitted, not tight on your arms or anything but they do have a band on it. It's exactly like the pictures below.

I wear a XXL Polo and I bought a 52" Drew Brees jersey a couple years ago and the Vilma Jersey is a 54". Not sure what this comes to in terms of your large polo.

Thanks for the feedback. So these fit true to the genuine authentics? I have a Brooks genuine authentic that's a 50 and it's a bit too baggy on me. So I think the 48 is the way I want to go.

Ironically the only black 48 is a Shockey, so no thanks.

I think I'll get a white Colston sized 48

If you meant to say they are selling really fake authentic looking jerseys made by 5 year old kids in some basement in the bad part of town, then yes you are correct. I was in the Riverwalk mall last week and looked at the Authentic jerseys for $269 and I can't tell btw the two.

Yup it appears to be true. Also, the website didn't show that they even had any 54" available when my wife ordered it, but when she filled out the order form she put my size and they had it. Just saying they may have it even if its not listed on the website.

Be prepared for some wierd emails with the order. We used paypal too.

I heard somewhere that these jerseys are the authentic ones that don't pass inspection. I have ordered a black Brees and a white Bush from them. The Brees jersey has a single white stitch on the number where a gold stitch should be. The Bush jersey has a small stain on the neckline. Neither defect is noticeable unless pointed out.

go on Ebay. They have stolen goods for sale. Its the same high quality NFL official jerseys for like $25. Make sure you get the one that has the NFL logo at the bottom of the V in the v neck. Thats how you know its authentic.
