This guy was all over ESPN's coverage. They knew the picks 5 minutes before ESPN and were right everytime I was watching.

Yeah, for the Saints, he came on with 5 minutes left on the clock and said we were picking Robinson, while the "experts" had us pegged taking Taylor Mays.

I really wish I had it on NFL network. That was probably the worst coverage of the draft by espn in the history of the draft. Terrible.

Brag,

I agree...seemed to be TOO many people at the table...tons of miscues on the sound, and overall awkward gaps of non talk. Was it the Prime time thing? I thought with only one round they would be much easier to pull off.

I totally agree. It just seems odd knowing who they are picking before the podium announcement. Every time they showed camera on a guy talking on a cell phone I hated it.

ESPN was god awful. People would be talking over each other, people would be talking while others weren't even listening. One example is Young going on some three minute rant and Gruden just rolling his eyes and smirking while not even looking at him. They kept showing people in view having side conversations or fixing their tie. They came back from different reports and you could see Berman doing all sorts of douchieness such has waving his hands around like a wild man. He was extra assholish, and he seemed drunk just saying very stupid and irrelevant shite.

The good thing about knowing the pick early is I get to hear about the player before he is even announced as opposed to only the couple of minutes after he is selected. Especially since ESPN was constantly guessing wrong and thus wasting a lot of time before the pick talking about a player that wasn't even taken.

That's the only part i hate about NFLN i don't want to here the pick(or see the guy on the phone) before they say it. It just bugs me and it's not like they are making a guess it's nothing special if someone from the team is telling you the pick, they need to cut that out.

Anyone else see Berman freaking out again. It was reminicent of the youtube video freak out. I laughed for a good 5 minutes. I definitely agree it was amateur night on there. Weird coverage. Steve Young cut everyone off and then they zoomed in on Tom Jackson when Steve cut him off, Tom gave a

Me, those were my exact thoughts. I had the remote on NFL Network and on ESPN where I could push the "last" button to switch back and forth between channels and La Conforna knew way ahead of ESPN. Did you see the pissing match between Mayock and Kiper?

I know Chris Berhman has the piece in his ears and got all kinds of fricktards talking in his ear but it was god awful television watching him handle the draft night. He didn't know what the frick from one moment to the next. I Bet he was a cursing a-hole afterwards.

Sorry, too much coffee this morning and I "hit" the wrongs keys on computer. It was McShay arguing with Kiper, not Mayock but Mayock is pretty accurate and does his homework more than Kiper.

I agree 100%. I loved the suspense of waiting for the name to be called. Then they can spend the next 10 min talking about the pick and why it was good or bad. Day of the draft I don't need more speculation, i just want to know how they think it'll work out.

at the end Berman just looked pissed even asked in a non-professional way " Are we done here?.... is that it?"

Also, Tom Jackson looks like he will fly to Denver and kill people over the Tebow pick..

ESPN was awful, terrible coverage, me and some co-workers were saying that this morning. Everything everyone else has said in this thread, they were bad last night. It was like 5 dudes sitting around arguing.
