The Browns aren’t done making moves on the last Friday of the league year. Like the Rams, Cleveland will be finalizing four different trades on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET. Maybe more.
Per multiple reports, the Browns have traded quarterback DeShone Kizer to the Packers. He’s the compensation to Green Bay for the trade that will send cornerback Damarious Randall to Cleveland. It’s unknown whether any draft picks were involved in the deal
Kizer, a second-round pick in 2017, joins Brett Hundley and Joe Houlihan Callahan on the Green Bay depth chart behind Aaron Rodgers. The former Notre Dame quarterback started 15 games as a rookie with the Browns, but he apparently has been identified by new G.M. John Dorsey as a player who needed to go — possibly due in part to the 28 turnovers he generated last year.
And go he will, increasing the likelihood that the Browns added a rookie (possibly with the first or fourth overall pick) to join a depth chart that now consists of Tyrod Taylor, Cody Kessler, and Kevin Hogan.

Seems an odd trade for GB to make (unless they also got a pick). With Hundley, why would you take on Kizer?

Think Kizer a much more prototypical nfl qb in terms of measurables. He also JUST turned 22. Rodgers still has some time but he is somewhat prone to injury. Maybe they feel like they can work with kizer who obviously needs a lot of it into a premier backup that can help them if Rodgers misses time. Then maybe they can get some kind of compensation like pats did.

Cause bundle only has a yr left and he's garbage.
Mixer is way younger and they can work with him. Also they just wanted to get rid of Randall and it's better than cutting him.
Kizer could be decent in a couple years

Per Field Yates...The Browns are trading DT Danny Shelton to the Patriots for a conditional pick, league sources tell @AdamSchefter and me.
Another 1st round pick down the shitter for the Browns.

That is a guy the Saints wanted bad too in the draft

Yep. The Browns took him 1 spot ahead of us. After our target was gone...we settled for Peat. Looks like it worked out pretty well for us.
