Really have to say this but it's painfully obvious the run is officially over, the Payton/Brees era is done. I was hard headed and believed we had one more good one in us but it's over. The Saints inability to analyze talent and draft it plus there lack of ability to get meaningful free agents has doomed this team. The heart and soul of any team is the big men up front and the Payton lead team refused to address the problem throughout the years till we ended up like this. Can't rush the passer and block for Brees or the running backs. All I can say is the glory days we're fun, we were top dogs and we relished it but we did nothing to make sure it continued. The time is now to tear it down and start anew, new staff, new QB, new lineman, etc, etc, etc

Wasn't that long ago when the Falcons and Panthers were garbage now they're competing for championships

It'll take a few years and lot of roster/front office turnover but we'll be back

The Payton/Loomis culture is not working anymore. Franchise needs a new regime from top to bottom.

I don't think it's time 2 games into season. Fire them after the season. If they are really as bad as you say they are, then they can't fk up our draft position either so there is absolutely no point and axing everyone right now, and making the dumpster fire even larger.

They'll win just enough to mess up our draft position and keep their jobs

Axe them now and you're in position to start over with a great player like Sam darnold or who ever. Wait and you're choosing middle of the pack

How convincing . If they win enough to save their jobs losing 5 major starters for all or much of the season in some cases before it even started, while also starting 0-2, I'll be extremely impressed. Let the season play out. If they don't then they haven't effected the draft, and they still get fired so what are you gaining.

Considering the amount of head coaching changes in past 2 years, I don't think the pool is ridiculously deep or anything. To translate it to short term, the sky is falling LSU talk, you'd be going from Les to O; Complete lateral move.

I made this remark on Sunday, that I feel like the falcons have done an excellent job turning their program around. They've been killing it in the draft also.
