It wasn't a missed call or a blown call!

By using either description you give the NFL referees enough leeway to claim it was an error!

The refs refused to throw their flags. Plain and simple an outright robbery.

No one in the building missed it. These refs just made the decision to not throw the flag on an obvious foul. Why?

Sean Payton is on the NFL Competition Committee

But guess who was the chair of the Compensation Committee for Goodell’s contract extension.
Non other than Falcons owner Arthur Blank.
Now I know no one from Atlanta wanted the Saints in their house for the Super Bowl, so I guess a big THANK YOU was in order.
Just a random thought.

Wow. As fans of the game of football this just such a dark time. It sucks it had to happen to the Saints, but I hope there is a major investigation, changes made, heads roll, etc.

The obviousness of the penalty is what baffles me. If they consciously decided to "let em play" as some National Radio douches claim then why the 2-3 different excuses from each of the at least 3 Refs that the video replay clearly shows were looking directly at it with ZERO obstruction in the way?

The tipped ball BS was immediately beyond laughable. Brees cleared the DL by 6 feet on the throw and the ball never changed direcroon as would happen if tipped. And the ref trying to say "bang bang" is just too much, maybe BANG.................BANG! Hell TLL hit the frickn ground before the GD ball.

Maybe they did a reverse psychology thing. Make the error so utterly and completely undeniable that no one could ever believe it was intenional? Hmmmmm........

Simplest most obvious exact answer. Point shaving.

$5 billion stadium won't fill the seats in LA. No one there cares about the NFL except the NFL refs living in the area.
