It feels great going into the draft this year

Without having a definite need for the team. We can go in so many different directions and it feels good.
Here's my wants with our 1st round pick
1.1 Marcus Davenport (opposite of cam Jordan would be lovely)
1.2 Tremaine Edmunds/Roquon smith (an elite lb can take this D to a new level)
1.3 Baker mayfield (prepare for post brees)
1.4 Josh Jackson ( another lockdown corner can never hurt)
1.5 Arden key (WHY NOT)
1.6 Derwin James (especially if vacorro walks)
1.7 Top rated O-lineman happen to slip due to the surplus of QB's

I expect most of those candidates to be gone, and I’m fine with trading down if a QB falls to the late first. Other than that, should be BPA.
If Davenport, Roquan, Edwards, or James are there, then yes we should pull the trigger.

1. Roquon Smith
2. Baker Mayfield
3. Derwin James ( if Vaccaro goes)
4. Arden Key

6. Josh Jackson
7. An OL.
I think we can pick up OL depth with free agency and later in draft. Corner I feel we can pick up a great CB in free agency.

If we're going to draft a DE in the 1st round...he better be a 3-down DE. I'll take an average pass rusher, but he better be able to stop the run consistently.
There will be plenty of pass rushers still available in the 3rd round.

Instead of going up for Baker, I'd rather trade down and draft BPA. I'd love to see Tagovailoabin black and gold. He looked really impressive and he's just a freshman. We have Brees for a few more years, I say we beef up our front 7
