Teams worked out Antonio Brown the last few years despite his consideably more baggage than Thomas carries

Brady kept Brown in the league his last few years. Mike doesn't have such an advocate.

And I thought he was in jail for fraud and theft.

It’s a shame because if he wasn’t such a head case, he would be somebody that we could really use right now as a possession receiver

No doubt. We desperately need a 3rd WR and desperately need one exactly like him. The fact we haven’t seemed the least bit interested in bringing him in for at least a workout speaks volumes. Not just to us fans, but the entire league. I mean, I think T.O. could have probably played 5 years after his last game. But teams didn’t want to deal with all that baggage. MT doesn’t bring the same national attention and baggage, but I’m sure his reputation throughout the league is really hurting him. It’d be 1 thing if he was still a #1 or #2 WR. But as a #3 or #4, he’s just not worth it.

That said, if I were had to be bet on the over/under of future MT NFL catches set at .5, I’d probably take the over. I think he’ll eventually get a chance somewhere. But it won’t be in a role he likes and it may not last very long.

He’s a pain in the arse and not worth the trouble. That’s what happens to loudmouth wide receivers. Juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
