your opinion of me being theatrical is incorrect. Nix has Payton. That counts for something. Dart at 9 will be bad. Getting back in the late 1st for Dart, will be bad. We need all of our picks to build our team again.

So let's draft project QB from a Div-3 school and lets see how he develops.

I'm just a fan. But Payton Turner and Marcus Davenport thank Loomis big time. O and Penning too.

maybe, maybe not. I've seen yall say this for years in every draft, yet other teams keep on finding their franchise QBs. We do not know who will be great sitting from our recliners, so it's probably best to stop acting like we do.

get our franchise QB next year.

You are aware there is zero guarantee we will be in position to do so next year, right? This is such a dumb concept.

I get it. But I also trust Kellen Moore, he’s got a good track record with QBs

why is your theatrical opinion on dart justified when we just witnessed bo nix success in denver? Dart has pretty much all better physical tools than nix.

And this board thought Nix was terrible.

Chances are high if we run with Rattler.

Yet not guaranteed. You don't give up the guarantee grab for a maybe if you think the guarantee is potentially your guy. It's dumb and emotional.

You'll know tonight if the Saints feel that Dart has the potential or not by if they draft him. Maybe stop being theatrical and emotional and let this play out.

Let’s be real. Nobody knows who will be a good QB or not so idk how you can just determine he isn’t a franchise QB.

I thought Bo Nix would be terrible and I definitely wouldn’t have drafted him. Nobody thought Lamar would be any good. Same with Jalen Hurts. A lot of people thought Cj Stroud would be a bust.

The list goes on and on. Nobody knows how these guys will pan out. What happens if we pass on Dart and then he becomes a star for another team? Just like Lamar. You just never know

That’s just your opinion and it’s a pretty stupid one. He will likely be drafted in the 1st round and will likely see the field within 1-2 years.

No way for you to know that. You’re just blindly throwing out generic opinions without any real reasoning

I’m not a fan of drafting him in the 1st either but I understand why they want to draft a qb and I understand why they think Dart is the best QB in the draft. He has phenomenal skills as a passer.

Yeah people sound stupid saying a particular player will not be a franchise QB. None of know how a player will pan out, especially on this board.

Dart was the definition of average in the OM games I watched. I would stay away from Lane Kiffun QBs in general.

What do you do if the team is solid, coaching is good and injuries are down... record is 9-8 and the team picks 17. Now suddenly we have to give up a mega bounty to move up.

Or

What do you do if Arch stays in school and all the other guys - Klubnik, Nuss, Allar, whoever - all don't look that good under the scrutiny process? "frick it, tank again!"? Not gonna happen. NFL teams don't "wait til next year" on QB classes

If they have conviction around the player, then take them. Hell, go up and get them if you think you have to. Just don't take a player you don't believe in, especially at QB.

I like Dart, but I think he can be had in the 20s, so I would prefer we stand pat and take someone else and then move up to 24 or so (give up one of our 3's - works out on the chart) from 40 and take Dart.
