I'm not giving up on the Brees longball yet. I kinda picture Ruggs as a very lethal underneath option though. Let MT13 and E Sanders clear em out and hit Ruggs on a wr screen and let him burn rubber.

You can only run screens so much. You have to either catch them on a blitz or have them backed off from long balls. We can run screens with Deontae Harris. I just don’t feel that Ruggs skill set bring much to the table for this year. Maybe for year’s after Brees but I feel like we would be much better served with a smart route runner (Jefferson - JJ in the first or Van in the 3rd) or a big mismatch type guy (Collin Johnson 4th) - I envision Collin in a Hybrid wr/in-line tight end role attacking the seam like Colston or being a redzone mismatch like Graham.
