A typical Falcons loss in the Super Bowl would've been a 5 or 6. They way they imploded was a solid 8.5.

Honestly there was no way in heck I wanted them to win. I hate the Falcons and everything about them. I think if you are a Saints fan you have to. I dislike Carolina and Tampa, but not like Atlanta.

Watching the game unfold I was in disbelief the whole night. At first I could not believe the way the Falcons were playing and the Patriots had no way to stop them. In reality I realize that Atlanta had just two scoring drives in the first half and one defensive score, but the feeling was an massacre and a commanding lead. Their final score which took the game to 28-3 at the time and I actually thought that was it.

Then to watch the Patriots come back was unreal. TD and missed EP and it is 28-9. Then they went on 4th down, but were close and I said take the points you still have the 4th quarter. 28-12. They tried the onside kick and it didn't really hurt them. Drove down and not only scored but got the two. 28-20. I thought is this possible they are only one stop away with a chance. Atlanta drove to what seemed like the NE 20 on the long pass to Julio and I thought well run the ball 3 times and kick a FG. Atlanta had other thoughts.

Honestly the way they lost is better than I could every hope for. I hope their fans feel like Shite.
I hope they question every rooting for that sad sack of losers.

My wife and I went on a walk in our Atlanta neighborhood just before the game, and this little boy was running over to his friend's house in his Falcon's jersey and was so excited and yelled Go Falcons! (NOT "Rise Up!"). Part of me wanted them to win just for that kid, but I'm ultimately still riding at a solid 7 with the meltdown-fashion loss.

Probably like a 5-6 or so. Our super bowl was the happiest I've ever been about a sporting event, this wasn't in the same league. The falcons are one of the only teams I truly pull against but I still don't pull that hard against anyone at this point. The way they lost was pretty spectacular though.
