I will forever be grateful what Brees did for the city and organization

Multiple playoff wins and division championships and of course the 1 Super Bowl victory. Organization was on life support after Katrina in 2005 and he completely turned this team around and help lift a city back to life. He was a fantastic ambassador for the region and will forever be grateful of his contributions here. The events of the last year should not erase what he has meant here. In his last act of goodwill, he is assisting Loomis with the salary cap situation. With Brees retirement, both the city and organization will miss him.

I wish we won another Super Bowl with Brees, but it is what it is. The Saints have been trash for 40 years, yet every year with Brees we have been essentially a playoff team every year. I thank him for everything he did. Truly. It sucks that it has to end and again wanted him to win a 2nd, but he needs to ride into the sunset.

Only the mouth breathing racists don’t agree with that. They don’t even know what they don’t know. They lack the IQ to tolerate something that is new and different. They can’t accept feeling slightly uncomfortable and make it about themselves. Ignore the uneducated trash on this board.

The NFL Hall of Fame will properly recognize Mr. Drew Brees. That is a certainty.
