Explain to him you are hosting a 1st round draft day party at your place. Ask I'm what will be discussed at the dinner. Let him know you are more than open to attending the next one.

Where is it at? There's a good chance, even at a higher end place, that they will have it up on tv. It's south Louisiana (presumably?), I don't think I've been to a restaurant in three years that wasn't broadcasting the most relevant sports thing currently on television.
