Hindsight:
1. Don't move up to grab Sed Ellis - stay put and get Jerod Mayo
2. Don't let Fujita walk
3. Pay Carl Nicks
4. Pay Tracy Porter
4. Don't draft Ingram (obviously) and get another defensive player
5. Cut Vilma as soon as we sign Lofton

29 ppg without your head coach and playcaller is struggling? Stupid post is stupid.
We had 7, SEVEN, meaningful points last night...."struggling now" implies now.

I'd be willing to be this unit looks a lot different next year
No shite...so there is nothing wrong with stating the FACTS about this year....
stupid reply is more stupid

you're an idiot... please keep posting to keep us entertained...
the offense has one bad game against a good defense, and now all of a sudden 'we're struggling'?? where the frick do you people come from?

Also I'm guessing you didn't say all this at the first of the season.

The fact that you didn't say this before the season has gone downhill proves that.
I dont take it as bashing, I will just say this...I have absolutely believed we would suck on defense this year, mostly I thought we would not be able to stop ANY decent passing attack....we let people walk over monetary issues to make sure we were in positions to pay all these skilled offensive guys.
My theory is Drew could make a good receiver out of just OK, talent...more so than our defense making a good player out of an OK db or lb'er.

Those high priced offensive players can't be blamed for the Saints WASTING not one, not two, but THREE first round draft choices (Ellis, Robinson, and Ingram) that with good players, instead, might have made this team virtually unbeatable.

Yes and I said they were struggling, which they did last night!
My topic was that the balance of money and talent is on the offense....and the economics of getting that offense is making the defense TERRIBLE!
Get over it! You are the idiot if you think we are a good team...if you think that, you have no concept of what "team" is....I for one would take a lower outputting offense to upgrade our defense and lower the other teams scores.....yeah, call me an idiot...its all you have.

The Saints were at their best BEFORE all these monster deals got done....THere was more money to secure good players on both sides of the ball, therefore making the team better.
I dont believe this. They missed on draft picks in early rounds, that's it. There's no talent gap between last yrs d and this yrs.
Last yr team could have easily been argued better than the 2009. They are fluke 5 turnover game from winning a ring.
You can claim the offensive contracts but it hasn'"t hurt us. The talent level on the d is same. It's bad but not the worst d historically bad.
The offensive isnt as good, we miss Payton, and Spags hasn't improved the defense, yet. Even w/ payton this team couldn't have won if the defense played this bad.

except it has absolutely nothing to do with our D this season. Blame Harper, Ellis, and Smith's contracts.
We added 2 big defensive free agents this off-season. Your premise is incorrect. Drew's contract isn't even a big cap hit yet. When it becomes a big cap hit, the salary cap increases with the new tv deal.

You have to include Jenkins in 1st round misses. If you look back at his draft, there were still players on the board such as Cushing and matthews.
Obviously it's easy to say when hindsight is 20/20

This season isnt over yet. So GFY. If we turn it around i wonder if you'll keep defending your statement. shite, if we win it all next year with all these mother frickers on offense who dont deserve the money they make, and still have the same contracts, will you shut your fat stupid mouth then?

What?
Saying its easy to say that drafting Malcolm Jenkins was a miss, but easy to say that when hindsight is 20/20.
Yea, I'm pretty sure I'll stand by that statement.
Learn how to read. You must have overlooked the post when I said its not the offensive contracts. You stupid lil frick.
